Anthony
Todd Hopkins
Born in
Fort Worth,Texas and now living in Mineral
Wells Texas. Anthony grew
up a Elvis
fan mainly because his mother is a huge Elvis fan and as a young
boy grew up
listening to the music of Elvis Presley in his mothers ceramic
shop during
the 70's, mostly 8 track tapes of course.
A musician
from an early age learning to play piano, guitar and drums, he
found a
love for drums mostly spending the 80's and 90's playing music
ranging
from Polkas to Heavy Metal but it all came back to Elvis
Presley.
Anthony
first visited Graceland in
1983 at the age of 13 and finally got
to return
during Elvis week in 2002, 2003 and 2004, and that's all it
took for
Anthony to
give up the drums after 17 years and want to be an Elvis Tribute
Artist.

Even though
he never would participate in karaoke bars he began to perform
for several
private parties. Anthony was encouraged by the crowds response
and his
family and friends continued to urge him not to quit.
Anthony
gave it a shot even though limited on performance moves after
recovering
from back surgery he continued to visit Memphis. During
his visit
to Elvis
Week 2004 and 2005 he sang at the Graceland Crossing under the
tent for the many Elvis fans in attendance and also recorded a
few songs at the famous Sun Studio.
Even though
Anthony is new to the ETA scene and has only just started, he
hopes to
rapidly improve and give the other ETA's someone to watch
for.
There will
never be another Elvis Presley and Anthony is happy keeping the
love and
respect for the man to whom he pays Tribute! That's why Anthony
will
keep on singing Elvis songs no matter what.
