Hi, my name is Sean Sharp. I am 6 years old and live
in Indian Trail, NC. I have been interested in Elvis
most of my life. I got my first costume at age 3 for
Halloween. My parents ordered it early so I could also
wear it to a Elvis tribute show in Charlotte, NC. They
expected lots of people dressed like Elvis but it was just me
and the performer on stage; Rick Alviti. Lots of adults
were talking to me and telling me how cute I was. After
the show we stayed to meet Rick and he told my mom she should
have brought me down to the stage. (We tried, the
security wouldn't let me on the floor without a floor
ticket.) He promised if I came to another show he'd let
me on stage with him and 6 months later he kept that
promise. From then on I've been hooked. |

I am always singing and dancing around the house. For
Christmas one year Santa brought a Karoke machine. The
next year I asked for and received colored lights and a fog
machine. I enjoy getting on stage with other Elvis
performers but really wanted to do my own show too. So
my parents thought it might be a good idea to go into Assisted
Living Centers, Retirement Homes and various local festivals,
fairs and events. To start with I did my show singing
along with Elvis. Recently I have started singing some
songs myself without Elvis.

In 2002 I participated in the Matthews Alive Cingular
"Express Yourself" stage. So far in 2003 I have
performed at the Blooming Arts Festival in Monroe, NC, the
Stallings Family Fun Night in Stallings, NC and the NC/SC
District Fair in Monroe, NC. Another fun thing was the
at the SC State Fair in Columbia, SC. We went to see the
"Three Faces of Elvis" show with The Jordanaires and a TV
station was hosting an Elvis look-a-like contest. I won
