What does PEIA do for others?
Provides assistance to
worthy causes and charities such as: Special Olympics Humane
Societies Muscular Dystrophy, Community Projects and many
others, Benevolent Fund for Active Members in need Assures
clients of professional, and dependable Entertainers.
Purposes: The recognition of
Professional Entertainers status. The Promotion of fellowship
Aims: The advancement of Elvis Presley's music and Style
throughout the world The promotion of musicianship, and professional
image The development of a true bond of friendship
*I
have an obligation to all associations, groups, and businesses who
purchase my entertainment services, and to provide those services in
a professional and ethical manner.
*I have an obligation as
an Elvis Impersonator in all my personal, business, and social
contacts, to be conscience of my image and what I represent and to
conduct myself accordingly.
*I will provide leadership and
direction in continuing the music and style of Elvis Presley while
lending strength and direction to the growth of the activity as a
great world-class entertainment media in "continuing the legacy of
Elvis Presley."
*I will strive for
achievement, practice Integrity, and follow the goals of the
PEIA *I will respect the dignity of all persons and members;
therefore I will not physically, mentally, psychologically, verbally
abuse, or slander other performers or members. *I will neither
use nor support the use of illegal drugs; I will neither abuse nor
support the abuse of alcohol. *I will respect my property and the
property of others; therefore, I will neither abuse or tolerate the
abuse of property. *I will meet my PEIA financial obligations in
a timely manner. *I will challenge all my fellow members to abide
by these Ethical Expectation and will confront those who violate
them.
The structure of PEIA emanates
from Executive Board of Directors that is the supreme ruling body
for the association. Major decisions are made at meetings held by
the board and through conference calls, All of the members are
represented at the meeting, The board of directors consist of Elvis
Impersonators, Agents, Producers and other professionals in the
field
Members will abide
by the PEIA Creed Members will abide by the decisions of the
board of directors. Members will abide by the Code of Ethics.
Members will support as many functions and events as possible by
attendance or volunteer work
I.
Purpose
The board of directors shall establish policy for all
affairs and shall direct all operation so that PEIA shall: Be a
part of the professional Entertainment community, promote high
standards of professionalism, demonstrate responsible discipline
with justice, and promote financial responsibility and
stability.
II. Responsibility
The Board of Directors
shall be responsible directly to the chairman and shall function in
accordance with the statues and general rules in the Code of Ethics.
The Board of Directors may delegate administrative and executive
responsibility and carry out its function through the President/Vice
President with the approval of the chairman.
III. Board
Members
The board of directors shall consist of the
following:
President - Oversees meetings, membership needs
and benefits. Vice President - Helps support operations and
membership drives. Secretary - Takes minutes of meetings and
organizes newsletters. Treasure - In charge of fund raisers,
balancing and use of funds.
IV. Officers
The board of
directors shall select its president from among its active members.
A member of the board shall be elected by the Board members as
the Vice Chairman.
V. Judicial Responsibilities
The
Board will review and render decisions on discipline action or
termination of membership for said violations.
The Board
shall report the action of such cases to the violating member in
question in a formal letter, signed by no less than three Board
Members.
Appeals from decisions of the board will be heard
at Board meetings before rendering a decision.
